What's involved with this role:
JOB TITLE: Finance Administrator
REF: VLA 5283895
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour PAYE
Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 12 months. Initially end of 2026 however this could increase due to nature of project, for the right candidate.
Working Arrangement: Onsite preferred however hybrid would be considered (minimum 2 - 3 days on site)
In order to apply for this role you will have previous experience in an administrative or finance support role and be able to attend the office in Shetland, Scotland as required.
The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Finance Administrator to support operations at SVT terminal.
You will be working from Monday - Friday working 08:00 - 16:30 on site at Sullom Voe, however the team could potentially be flexible on this.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with timesheets
Ordering of supplies
Raising purchase orders
Booking of flights, ferries, accommodation, hire vehicles etc.
Support with financial month end
General ad hoc admin duties
What the client is looking for:
Previous experience in an administrative or finance support role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident using IT systems and financial tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Professional communication skills and a team-focused approach
