Are you an Engineer with a substantial background in Rolling Stock and Depot operations seeking an opportunity to make a real difference to the UK’s largest light rail network?

Your Role
As the TfGM MetrolinkSenior Asset Engineer for Rolling Stock and Depots you will join our Engineering team working across the engineering life cycle. You will be engaged in overseeing our maintenance contractor to ensure the provision of safe and effective assets is maintained. Managing the development of our asset strategy for Metrolink, specifying renewals, and reviewing designs to ensure upgrades and enhancements meet our requirements.
This is hybrid role where you will be expected to work in the office 2 days per week.

You will have substantial background and experience in Rolling Stock asset management and Depot operations, with light rail involvement advantageous. A broad understanding of associated systems to include both electrical and mechanical aspects is required. You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience in the delivery of engineering projects in the light or heavy rail industries together with demonstrable experience managing technical interfaces with other engineering disciplines.

This is a permanent role with a salary of £57,770 - £65,024 per annum depending on skills and experience.
