- Standard working hours: 08:00 - 16:00, with flexibility required
- At least 5 years of professional bakery experience
- Minimum 3 years hands-on donut-making experience (artisan or large-batch)
- Expert knowledge across the full donut-making process: mixing, proofing, frying, glazing, finishing
- Strong understanding of dough behaviour, frying methods, and bakery science
- Proven ability to deliver consistent results in a commercial production environment
- High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working early mornings independently
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg
As a Skilled Donut Baker, you will:
- Lead daily donut production, including yeast-raised, cake, filled, and specialty varieties
- Mix, proof, fry, glaze, finish, and decorate products to precise standards
- Contribute to recipe development and refinement to maintain premium quality
- Support preparation of additional bakery items when required
- Manage production schedules to ensure efficiency and product freshness
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Train and support junior team members
