Grade: 7 - £37,099 - £44,263 p.a. pro rata

Applications are invited for a fixed-term Lecturer in Law (Teaching & Scholarship) in the School of History, Law and Social Sciences.

The successful candidate will deliver existing validated undergraduate and postgraduate modules, such as Contract Law, Tort Law and Land Law. Duties will include teaching law including the development of teaching resources and marking of assignments. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide pastoral support to students and assist with recruitment activities.

Candidates should have a PhD (or near completion) in law, a related discipline or be able to demonstrate relevant experience.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this role.

The successful candidate will be expected to commence by 12 January 2026. The role is fixed-term for 5 months to cover maternity leave.

This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
