Crynodeb

Bio-Check is expanding its manufacturing capacity for diagnostic test kits — including lateral flow devices — and we’re looking for someone who enjoys a blend of hands-on production work and organised planning.

In this hybrid role, you’ll build broad experience across our manufacturing processes while helping ensure our workflow runs efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the creation of short- and long-term production schedules based on customer demand and forecasts

Helping allocate staff time and materials to meet daily and weekly output targets

Monitoring progress, identifying bottlenecks, and adjusting plans to keep production on track

Getting involved in core manufacturing tasks, such as reagent formulation, dispensing, labelling, assembly, packing, documentation, inspection, and calibration

Working closely with supply chain, logistics, QC, and finance teams to ensure plans align with wider business needs

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a team player who can help coordinate tasks and contribute positively in a fast-changing environment. While experience in planning or manufacturing is beneficial, we’re equally interested in individuals with the right attitude, reliability, and commitment to clean, safe (COSHH-aware) working practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company, develop new skills, and be part of an exciting 5-year expansion journey.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment

Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities

Ability to support the preparation and maintenance of short- and long-term production schedules

Willingness to assist with organising staff time and material requirements

Ability to monitor progress and raise issues or changes promptly

Strong attention to detail and adherence to documented procedures

Comfortable performing practical tasks including reagent formulation, dispensing, assembly, packing, labelling, and documentation (training provided)

Effective teamwork and communication across multiple departments

Computer literacy (Office 365); experience with Sage or QPulse is advantageous but training is available

Commitment to clean, safe, and consistent working practices, including COSHH awareness

A positive, adaptable mindset and a willingness to learn and grow as the company expands are essential.
