Are you passionate about supporting innovation in health and care? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your organisational skills make a real impact? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-orientedInnovator Support Coordinatorto help deliver our core NHSE and OLS commissions, as well as Commercial Partnerships activity.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the first point of contact for innovators seeking support directly or through the NHS Innovation Service. You’ll triage enquiries, coordinate meetings and support activities, and work with the Commercial team to guide innovators to the right resources and support networks. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape programmes of support, and online resources. Your work will directly contribute to accelerating innovation in health and care across the UK.

HIEM is a hybrid working organisation with staff working a combination of home and office working. As Innovator Support Coordinator, you’ll be involved in the discovery of health and care innovations that meet the needs of healthcare system challenges, and the development of offers to support innovators to progress their ideas and navigate the NHS.

You will manage incoming enquiries and referrals, schedule support activities, and signpost innovators to relevant resources. You’ll maintain accurate records in our CRM system to support quarterly reporting and impact tracking.

What We’re Looking For:

· Extensive experience in administration or business support, ideally within the NHS, social care, or a health-related setting.

· A proven track record in a senior administrative role within a large, complex organisation.

· Someone who’s organised, responsive, and passionate about making a difference.

Commissioned by NHS England and the Office for Life Sciences, HIEM is hosted by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, but operates as a self-contained organisation with offices at the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham. We are one of 15 Health Innovation Networks around England that operate as the innovation arm of the NHS.

We bring together partners from all sectors involved in health and care including the NHS, social care and public health, patients, research, third sector and industry – to identify, test and spread new technologies and better ways of working.

We save the NHS money, generate economic growth, empower health and care staff, and improve lives for patients.

We work closely with our health and care stakeholders to establish their priorities then provide support. As part of a national network, we import evidenced solutions from other Health Innovation Network regions and export our successful East Midlands programmes on a national basis.

We have a range of objectives, but our overarching aim is always to make a difference for patients.
