At Countryview Children’s Respite Service, we are excited to be recruiting for two Intensive Support Practitioner positions:
1 x Full-Time Intensive Support Practitioner (Day Shift – 37.7 hours per week)
1 x Intensive Support Practitioner (Night Shift – 22 hours per week)

About the Roles
As an Intensive Support Practitioner, you’ll deliver high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people accessing our respite service. You will work as part of a supportive and skilled team, following individualised care plans and routines that promote empowerment, safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
The Nightshift role offers an enhanced hourly rate of £14.51 from midnight to 7am, allowing you to earn more while making a meaningful impact during quieter hours.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
To be considered, you must have:
✔ SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People)
OR an equivalent qualification, such as:
Registered General Nurse (RGN)
Other recognised SCQF Level 7 health or social care qualifications
A full driving licence is essential due to the rural location of the service.
You’ll also be:
Able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months
Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing safe, empowering, child-centred care
A reliable team player with strong communication skills
Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people
Working towards your qualification?
