Summary
Wine Waiter/Restaurant Sommelier Overview
- Working within the Mirabelle team serving wine and other beverages to dining guests
- During service you will recommend and sell wines to guests that will complement their tastes and meal.
- Engaging with customers is essential therefore enjoyment in delivering the highest levels of service is a must
- Carry out other general waiting duties as part of the Restaurant team.
- This is a fantastic role if you wish to progress your career within a quality establishment within hospitality. This position has arisen due to internal promotion, so it is a fantastic place to start!
- This role will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
Wine Waiter/Restaurant Sommelier Key Attributes
- Good knowledge of wine is essential, restaurant experience, preferably in a similar luxury establishment
- Level 2 WSET qualification, or working towards. If you do not have your qualification we are happy to support you in achieving this
- Polite and personable with good customer service skills
- Well presented and impeccably groomed
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- A positive personality and service with a smile
