We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative.
As a Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative you will support day-to-day production activities, carrying out assembly work based on accurate measurements, instructions and drawings.
Working in a hands-on environment, a Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative will help ensure smooth workflow, contribute to quality standards and follow established safety procedures.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Manufacturing Operative / Assembly Operative include:
• Assembly Line Work: Producing items using measurements, calculations, drawings or instructions
• Quality Checks: Inspecting assembled products for defects
• Materials Handling: Packing boxes, loading and unloading materials and finished goods
• Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols and reporting any incidents or faults
• Team Support: Working under the direction of a senior operative or supervisor
• Operational Efficiency: Supporting smooth day-to-day production activities
• Equipment Handling: Managing materials and components safely
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
• Background in Similar Roles: Previous experience in an assembly, production or manufacturing environment
• Teamwork: Able to work individually and collaboratively
• Attention to Detail: Accurate, careful and takes pride in work
• Instruction Following: Able to understand and follow written and verbal guidance
• Pressure Handling: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Physical Capability: Able to lift items safely within guidelines
• Health and Safety Knowledge: Understanding of workplace safety protocols
• Initiative: Able to work proactively when required
Desirable
• Forklift Licence: Advantageous but not essential
• Technical Understanding: Knowledge of production machinery and assembly procedures
• Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read technical drawings or schematics
