Delivery Driver – Self-Employed – New Launch Opportunity!

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated self-employed Delivery Driver to join our team for an exciting new launch. As a delivery partner, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role suits individuals with a proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service on behalf of the world's LARGEST ONLINE RETAILER.
We are keen to hear from applicants from all different backgrounds especially those from AMAZON, DHL, DPD, EVRI, ROYAL MAIL and any other couriers.
Key Requirements
Self-employed position – you will operate as an independent contractor.
Must hold a valid UK driving licence, preferably 2 years and no more then 6 points on your licence. (Offence codes such as BA, IN, DG,DR,MS or TT are not accepted)
Minimum age: 18 years.
Right to work in the UK.
Required to pass background checks .
Required to pass drugs and alcohol testing.
Duties
Conduct checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition at start of day.
Load vehicle with pre sorted parcels.
Follow pre loaded routes on device that will take you at customers door.
Deliver parcels timely and safely ( Safety first ).
Refuel vehicle.
Return vehicle to depot.
Final checks on vehicle and report vehicle condition.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving at all times.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or Van Driver is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
Ability to drive safely under various weather conditions and navigate through traffic.
Experience with heavy lifting and handling of goods in a warehouse environment.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
