In the Service Manager job, you will be:

    • Maintain and update Young Person–centred plans, risk assessments and documentation, ensuring social, emotional and educational needs are met
    • Lead and support staff, including supervisions, appraisals, return-to-work meetings, and rota planning, ensuring safe staffing and compliance
    • Manage systems, monitor productivity, and coordinate meetings with staff, Young People, and external professionals
    • Handle calls, emails, enquiries and invoices efficiently
    • Take accountability for service quality, safeguarding, and reporting concerns promptly

    To be considered for the Service Manager position you must have :

    • Minimum 3 years’ CYP management experience, including at least 1 year in a care coordinator/manager role
    • Committed and passionate about developing staff and delivering excellent outcomes
    • Level 5 in Supporting Young People (or willingness to complete)
    • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

      This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm) on a temporary basis of 1 month initially, whilst recruitment for a permanent position is underway. You’ll be based in Mold, starting at an hourly rate of £20.51 (equivalent to approx. £40,000 per year).
