As a Security Officer atHMPPS Newbold, Rugby, CV23 OTH, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety andsecurity of both the building and the people inside.Your presence willcontribute to a safer environment and positively impact the lives of those youencounter.
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors while ensuring strict adherence to security protocols.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all building users.
- MonitorCCTV, Access Control, and other security systemsto detect and prevent security threats.
- Act as thefirst line of responseto security incidents, system activations, and fault reports.
- Handle calls, relay messages, and provide clear guidance to staff and visitors.
- Conduct regular security patrols to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
What You Bring:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities.
- Must be 18 or olderand hold avalid SIA License.
- Excellent communication and situational awareness.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Due to the nature of the site, afull DBS clearanceis required.
