Crynodeb
Deliver inpatient stroke care across hyperacute, acute, and rehabilitation phases. Work with stroke nurse specialists on triage, thrombolysis, and thrombectomy referrals. Interpret CT, CTA, and CTP imaging confidently. Provide stroke consultations to colleagues across the Trust. Participate in TIA and stroke follow-up clinics, vascular and neuroradiology MDTs. Contribute to clinical governance, audit, mortality reviews, and regional meetings. Engage in stroke research and continuing medical education. Supervise and train junior doctors; support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Assist in stroke service management and future developments. On-call: 1:8 weekend rota with ward rounds and remote thrombolysis calls. Please refer to the job description & person specification for further information.
