About the Role
P4 Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a fantastic 7-bed children’s home (currently supporting 6 children aged 11–16, with a new young person joining soon). The home provides high-quality care for young people with:
Autism
Non-verbal communication needs
Epilepsy
2:1 or 1:1 support requirements
This is a vibrant, busy home with a dedicated team who are passionate about giving children the stability, care, and positive experiences they deserve.
Who We’re Looking For
Our client values the right personality over experience, experience is also a great value.
You don’t need a background in care just the right mindset and attitude. We’re seeking someone who is:
A big personality who can fit confidently into a large, supportive team
Adaptable, resilient, and calm under pressure
Compassionate and able to build trusting relationships
Willing to learn and committed to safeguarding
Experience is welcomed but not essential full training will be provided by the home.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
Provide tailored 1:1 or 2:1 care
Support young people with communication, sensory needs, and daily routines
Encourage emotional and social development
Work collaboratively with a passionate team
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing environment
You’ll typically work three long day shifts per week (7am–9pm), offering an excellent work–life balance.
