We are excited to announce an incredible opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic educational team in Warrington, Cheshire. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £95 per day.
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students with diverse needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide individualised support to students, ensuring they receive the necessary accommodations and modifications to access the curriculum effectively. You will assist in developing and implementing personalised learning plans, adapting materials and resources to meet each student's unique requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with children with special educational needs, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A relevant qualification in special education or a related field is highly desirable.

- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans
- Adapt materials and resources to meet individual student needs
- Support students in developing social, emotional, and life skills
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach to student support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers to provide updates and seek their input
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Relevant qualification in special education or a related field (desirable)
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using educational technology and adaptive equipment
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
