We are looking to recruit a Business Support Administrator on a Fulltime, Temporary basis to join our team based within Gateshead.
Key Duties:
*To provide clerical and administrative support to services within Education, Schools & Inclusion, ensuring an efficient and effective service is provided.
*To deal with enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure a high level of customer service to service users, members of the public and external organisations via telephone, letter, email and in person
*To maintain and update manual and computerised information systems, ensuring information used by the service is accurate.
*To co-ordinate responses to Freedom of Information and subject access requests in a timely manner and in accordance with GDP Regulations.
*To undertake general financial administration in accordance with the financial regulations in relation including budgets, budget monitoring, processing of invoices and other areas as required.
*To produce concise and accurate minutes and/or reports, as and when required.
The Candidate:
*Demonstrated experience in administrative and office-based roles, supporting smooth day-to-day operations.
*Highly organised, with strong time-management abilities and a proactive approach to prioritising tasks.
*Skilled in data entry and maintaining precise, well-structured records.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information confidently and professionally.
