We'd like you to join us as a Support Worker at our clients care package in Bryn Hyfred, Swansea.

Meet the Client:

Our client loves to get out and about into the community whether its attending sporting events or going to see the latest film in the cinema. He has a great sense of humour so would like someone who he can have a laugh with and has the same interests as him!


When you'll be working:

  • 2 shifts a week
  • 8am-7pm Monday & Friday / 9am -8pm Tuesday to Thursday
  • 22 hours a week
  • Part time hours available

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support our male client who has cerebral palsy in his family home and out in the community, to enable him to lead an independent and active lifestyle. This will involve supporting him with moving and handling, personal care, domestic duties and driving his vehicle.

As part of the role is to take the client out so you must hold a full UK drivers licence.

What you'll have:

  • We're looking for someone who brings more than just skillyou bring heart.
  • You're confident behind the wheel and hold a full UK driving licence, ready to hit the road for spontaneous day outings to sporting events, go to the cinema or play some bowling.
  • You've got hands-on care experience, and you understand what it means to be there when it matters most.
  • Your nature is gentle, your patience long, and your communication clearsomeone who connects with compassion and listens with intent.
  • You carry your sense of humour with you even on the busiest of days.
  • NVQ level 3 or above needed for this role.
