About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician with strong expertise in Siemens PLCs to join our team in Redditch. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys solving complex automation challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Program, configure, and maintain Siemens PLC systems.
* Write and modify PLC code to support production and automation requirements.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot control system issues to minimize downtime.
* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to implement process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout all activities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working with Siemens PLCs (programming and coding essential).
* Strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or similar field.
