Contract type: Part time 20 hours per week plus INSETS, plus 5 days to be worked during the school holidays.Working Hours: 4 hours per day, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, Monday to Friday.Pay Scale: Grade 10 £26,824 - £28,142 FTE (£12,791 - £13,419 pro-rata)The roleWinterbourne Academy is seeking a dedicated and proactive Part-Time Attendance Officer to join our administrative team. This pivotal role focuses on improving student attendance so that whole-school attendance exceeds national averages across all student groups.The successful candidate will maintain accurate attendance records and provide timely reports to the Attendance Lead and Senior Leadership Team. They will work closely with key families to build positive, professional relationships that support improved attendance and contribute to strategies that raise overall attendance levels. In addition, they will ensure compliance with statutory requirements while collaborating with a team of administrative staff to support the wider school administration.We are looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and committed to making a real difference to student outcomes.Our Philosophy as an Employer
