The role
We are currently looking to recruit a People Services Assistant, to join our People Services team here at Housing 21.
Within the role you will provide a people focused service to the business on a wide range of People Services processes, including the resolution of 1st level employee relations and transactional queries, in accordance with established policies, process and procedures and change management support. To enable managers to carry out their people management role effectively by providing initial advice on policy and process.

While the role offers flexibility with home-based work, the successful candidate will be required to attend team meetings at our head office in Birmingham as required.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
• Experience of working in a HR role with knowledge of HR processes and policies covering a variety of HR activities (including but not limited too change management, advice, guidance)
• Experience of working in a fast paced, high-volume environment and delivery of excellent customer service
• Able to work as part of a team and is a team player who values making a contribution to others and the business
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of customers and to the business
• Experience of working with a HR system
• Good Knowledge of Word and Excel
• Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection legislation
• Educated to GCSE Grade C (Level 4) or above or equivalent experience
• CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience of working in a HR environment
