Crynodeb
1. Assume the role of Facilitator to the Emergency Department teams/staff providing support for continuing clinical and professional development in the work place. 2. Be responsible for the continuing development in line with national Guidance of competency-based frameworks for Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, monitoring and evaluating its effectiveness. 3. Through this process of work-based competencies, the post holder will provide continuing support to all Bands of clinical staff in their delivery of nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team. 4. Through working in all areas of the department support and supervise Emergency Department staff/teams to assess, develop, implement and evaluate standards/programmes of care, providing advice and support to develop methods to evaluate care delivered where required. 5. Facilitate and participate in research projects and use findings to change practice where appropriate.
