Are you a filmmaker with a flair for storytelling and a passion for creating high-quality, engaging content?

About the role

As our Film Production Officer, you will be part of a team responsible for the creation and delivery of a strategic film and photography service, capturing our students' experience on campus and out in the field; helping to promote the University to UK and international audiences. The role reports to the Film and Photography Manager, and is part of a small team providing film and photography in support of student recruitment, working closely with content marketing teams within the Marketing and Communications Directorate (Marcoms).

You will provide specialist filming and supporting photography for marketing, recruitment and promotional activities, adding your creative ideas to our plans. As part of the team, you will organise film initiatives, capturing the footage that showcases our student stories across multiple channels and multimedia formats, to the world. You will be involved in putting our content strategy into practice, collaborating with academic and Marcoms colleagues in creation of new content and editing and post-production tasks to deliver final outputs published on University channels.

Due to the nature of the role, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate working from home.

There is an essential requirement within this role that you will be required to travel to and work at different University sites and/or other business locations that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Please refer to the job description for further information.
