Zero-Hour Contract | Weekend Availability Required
The Grosvenor Hotel on Plymouth Hoe is looking for a reliable and motivated Breakfast Chef to join our team on a zero-hour basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys early starts, takes pride in delivering a great breakfast experience, and is happy to support the team during busy periods.
Hours:
Start time: Between 6:00am and 8:00am
Finish time: Approximately 10:30am–11:00am
Shifts will vary depending on business levels.
Contract Type:
Zero Hours – you will be required to cover staff holidays, weekends, and sickness when needed.
️ Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook our breakfast service to a high standard.
Maintain excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Serve guests directly during quieter periods.
Work independently and efficiently.
Follow daily checklists and communicate clearly with the team.
✔️ What We’re Looking For:
Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (required).
Experience in a kitchen environment (breakfast cooking preferred but not essential).
Someone dependable, punctual, and comfortable working alone at times.
A friendly, customer-focused attitude.
