Crynodeb
IMS Group are a successful Bournemouth based marketing and advertising company. We also publish the very popular BH Living magazine. We're on the lookout for a new member of our friendly team based in Bearwood to help co-ordinate our popular magazine and leaflet distribution service.
You'll be working alongside our Distribution Supervisor assisting her in managing our customer's leaflet and magazine distribution projects. Duties will include;
•Helping plot our distributors rounds with our state of the art planning software
•Raising work orders and instructions
•Checking on the progress of our distributors using our GPS tracking software
•Dealing with incoming queries and questions from our distribution team members
•Helping book customers work onto our system and send confirmations
•Liasing with the rest of the IMS team to ensure everyone is aware of progress of projects
•Attending team meetings
The nature of this work means we can be flexible with regard to working hours, however hours of work would be within our office hours of 9am - 5.30pm. Suggested hours of work would be:
Monday to Thursday: 11am - 3pm or 12.00 - 4pm + overtime if needed, during busy times.
Friday: 9.30am - 2.30pm
The person we are looking for:
•You will need to be comfortable with working on computers, learning new software (with training)
•You will need to be able to work as part of a team but also unsupervised at times.
•Be a quick typer - both on Keyboard and Mobile Devices as we do a lot of day-to-day communication with our distributors.
•You need to have a pleasant and friendly phone manner and feel comfortable on the phone talking to people, as we do receive a lot of calls from distributors who want to speak to someone rather then email or text.
•You'll need to have an eye for detail and be a meticulous person with a level head who can multi-task in a busy but fun environment.
•Have an excellent grasp of written and spoken English as communication is a big part of this job.
•Be patient as some of our distributors may have learning difficulties and need to be treated kindly and with respect.
