Warehouse Team Leader – PM Shift
Hours: 13:30 – 22:00 (Monday – Friday)
Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
Location: Marden, Kent
- Ready to lead a warehouse team where your ideas make a real impact?
- Want to take the next step in logistics leadership with a business that’s growing fast?
- Do you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment?
The Opportunity
As Warehouse Team Leader (PM Shift) at the Marden site, you’ll play a key role in day-to-day operations. You’ll support the management team, lead a group of warehouse operatives and ensure all activity runs safely, smoothly and efficiently.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for a confident, organised and people-focused individual to step into a leadership role with real responsibility and clear progression.
The Role
- Supervise a team of warehouse operators to meet daily targets and KPIs
- Coordinate workloads, plan tasks, and maintain productivity across the PM shift
- Oversee loading, handling, and storage processes to ensure accuracy and care
- Ensure all vehicles, FLTs and equipment are maintained and compliant
- Manage inbound and outbound vehicle movements following company procedures
- Support with driver debriefs, paperwork checks, and returns processing
- Lead on warehouse safety and incident investigations
- Support the induction and training of agency and new team members
- Drive high standards in accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction
Our Ideal Candidate
It goes without saying that, as our ideal candidate, you’ll already have experience working within a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment and hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence. You’ll be a natural leader, calm under pressure, organised and confident in decision-making.
You’ll also have:
- Strong leadership and coaching skills – able to motivate and engage teams
- A solid understanding of warehouse operations, H&S, and compliance procedures
- A methodical, process-driven approach to achieving high standards and targets
It’s a bonus if you also have experience within two-person home delivery or large-item logistics, ideally with a background in retail or furniture distribution.
If the above sounds of interest, don’t wait - apply today! We’d love to see your application.
