Job title: Personal Assistant
Location: Rhydlewis
Hours of work: 13.5 hours per week
Rate of pay £14.00 per hour
I am a lady in my 30’s who wishes to employ a Personal Assistant to support me with many aspects of my daily life.
As an individual who suffers from seizures and falls, it is essential that applicants have a calm and patient nature, to ensure they are able to support me in the event of this happening. Training will be provided.
I am a part-time wheelchair user; therefore, applicants should be comfortable assisting me with this and getting it in and out of the car. As my PA you will be required to transport me to and from locations should I wish to access my local community, activities or events.
I enjoy participating in arts, crafts and gardening activities, both at home and at organised events. Having a likeminded PA who has knowledge of local groups and clubs who offer such activities would enable me to continue to enjoy these.
Accessing my community is also important to me as this allows me to visit amenities, interact with others and make the most of my local surroundings. Having support to access such things as café’, and shops would benefit me greatly and help me to maintain an independent lifestyle. I would also like my PA to help me find new and exciting things to do when out and about.
I would also like to improve my overall all health and wellbeing. Therefore, would like my PA to help me achieve this by assisting me to improve my fitness.
Applicants for the role need to be comfortable around animals as they play a big part in my life. I also have an assistance dog who on occasions may accompany me when out.
