Crynodeb
Manage patient flow within the unit daily. Proactively plan patient booking, identifying capacity shortfalls and taking steps to ensure capacity is fully utilised. Develop links with inpatient Patient Flow team to proactively support the smooth running of theatres both in the Main suite and DPU. To facilitate patient transfers, supporting a smooth and constant throughput of day-case patients within the Unit and Trust. Managing patient pathways by communicating with patients, booking teams, inputting data on ORSOS and PAS, liaise with medical teams where appropriate.
