About the Role

In this vital role, you'll support the learning and development of young students by assisting teachers, providing one-on-one and small group support, and helping to create an inclusive classroom environment. This position offers a competitive salary and is available on a full-time or part-time basis during term time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

  • Provide targeted assistance to students who need extra help.

  • Help maintain a positive and safe classroom atmosphere.

  • Assist with preparing teaching materials and resources.

  • Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school.

  • A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Relevant qualifications are a plus, but not essential.

  • A strong commitment to safeguarding children (enhanced DBS check required).
