We are looking for EAL / ESOL Tutors and Teachers with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners. Take control of your teaching journey with us and work flexibly, creatively, and in a trauma-informed way to make a difference in your life and the lives of the young people we support.
Your role will include:
• Deliver in-person EAL/ESOL tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other additional educational needs.
• Support pupils and students from KS1 to KS5 (as appropriate to expertise) referred by local authorities and schools, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Teach engaging, individualised lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress to support continued development.
The successful EAL / ESOL Tutors and Teachers will have:
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g. CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, QTS)
- Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, ideally working with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
