We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Housing Development Officer to join our team to assist in the delivery of a number of multi-million-pound investment programmes across the city.
The successful applicant will work with the management team directly with a focus on providing a dedicated business management role to lead on core business management on a daily basis and help to focus attention on the key areas of delivery at a strategic level. This role is integral with the speed at which the investment team can plan, communicate and deliver capital improvements, and the management team can embed core block management processes and procedures to secure the investment in the high-rise estate.
You will have the opportunity to work within an expanding and evolving team which is currently delivering ambitious programmes of investment across the city. The team are currently working with external multi-disciplinary design teams and contractors on large scale retrofit and upgrade projects across the Council's estate, and this role will be essential for the continued delivery of safe, secure, well maintained and energy efficient buildings with a customer first approach.
Within the High-Rise team, we currently have five design commissions at various RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) design stages covering twelve high rise blocks with another five additional blocks scheduled for design of full fabric upgrade this year with a budget of around £250m. We also have a live £60m fire improvement programme covering thirty high rise blocks which is one of the most ambitious domestic fire safety programmes in the UK. Further large-scale mechanical and electrical improvement programmes are planned to have early design begin in the next year. You can view an example of the types of projects we are delivering on our external">https://www.collectivearchitecture.co.uk/projects/cables-wynd-house-lin… contractor website.
