Role Overview
We’re looking for a Skilled MIG Welder to join our dedicated team. You’ll be working on a variety of bespoke steel projects, from mezzanine floors to custom frameworks, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components
Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
Operate workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively
Collaborate with the design and fabrication team to meet project deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Uphold BV Fabrications’ standards for quality and compliance
Requirements
Proven experience in MIG welding (minimum 2 years preferred)
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication (preferred but not essential)
