Crynodeb
To be responsible and accountable for the provision and management of
Voluntary Services throughout Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust within established budgetary guidelines, and in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
To promote and support effective and appropriate use of volunteers to improve patient and public experience engagement and involvement in MTW. To grow and develop the MTW v volunteering service to increase in take up of volunteering while reflecting the diversity of the local community To ensure safe, standard practice in volunteer management across MTW.
To ensure that the safety of volunteers, patients, carers, visitors and staff is not compromised by the use of volunteers. The direct line management of the Voluntary Services Team The management and development of the Volunteer End o f Life Service.
The post holder will be required to deputise for the Experience of Care Lead as and when required in specific meetings
