Summary
Provide a full range of care and health education in a hospital setting performing clinical midwifery duties. Act as experienced mentor for less experienced midwives and student midwives. Assess the full range of care needs and develop, implement and evaluate provision of care throughout the childbirth period for women and their babies. Continuing responsibility for the day to day management of the allocated area, ensuring delivery of high standard of midwifery care through effective management of staff and resources within the service.
