Franklin Sixth Form College is proud to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and positive learning environment, and we are seeking a dedicated Student Engagement Assistant to help maintain that atmosphere across our campus. Working primarily within The Bridge, our central study space, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, supporting student wellbeing, and ensuring that our study areas remain calm, safe, and conducive to effective learning.

This is a highly interactive role, ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with young people and making a difference in their day-to-day experience. You’ll be a visible and approachable presence, encouraging purposeful study, addressing any behavioural issues with professionalism, and signposting students to appropriate support where needed. Working closely with our academic and wellbeing teams, you will help nurture a culture of respect, inclusivity, and personal responsibility throughout the college.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, a calm and approachable manner, and a genuine commitment to student success and wellbeing. Experience in education, youth work or a similar setting would be an advantage, but just as important is your ability to inspire confidence and model the positive values we promote at Franklin.

If you’re passionate about helping students thrive in a supportive, respectful and engaging college environment, we’d love to hear from you.
