What skills and experience we're looking for

Hunloke Park Primary School is a happy and popular school in Wingerworth. The pupils, staff and Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated Learning Support Assistant from January 2026, to work within our Extended Services provision. The post is to cover maternity leave and we are keen to appoint someone who is caring, flexible, conscientious and experienced in good behaviour management.

The successful applicant will join our friendly and dedicated Breakfast Club Team, helping other members of staff to set up and organise activities for the children, liaise with parents, prepare and serve breakfast and clear away after each session.

Applicants must have a desire to work as a team, a passion for helping children to learn and a willingness to learn themselves. We offer a positive and thriving school environment, well-behaved children, a great team of staff and a commitment to continuing professional development.

The hours of work would be: Monday to Friday 07.20 am to 8.50 am.
