Your new company
Hays HR are recruiting for a fantastic financial services company, based in Cardiff. They are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor with Employee Relations experience, particularly in performance management and long-term sickness.
Your new role
As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in the HR team, in delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee life cycle.
Reporting to the HR business partner, your key responsibilities are:
- Provide expert ER advice and guidance, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management
- Support the delivery of manager training on performance management
- Assist the HR team and managers with documentation, scheduling, and note-taking for meetings
- Contribute to reports and data tracking for ER trends and outcomes
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in HR and employee relations, with a strong understanding of current employment law
- Excellent stakeholder management ability
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Sound judgement, discretion, and emotional resilience
- CIPD qualification is desirable
