Job OverviewTo carry out reactive and planned maintenance covering various disciplines in a busy acute general hospital. To ensure that work carried out is to the correct standards, instructions and documentation is accurate.
Main Duties
-First responder to reactive fault calls on the various engineering disciplines within the hospital, including heating, cooling, nurse calls, water etc.
-Carry out planned maintenance as per instructions, completing accurate documentation and reporting non-compliances to the Supervisors.
-Participate in a shift rota, including nights, and provide cover when colleagues are unavailable.
-Assist colleagues within the team, and also be able to work on own with minimum supervision.
What we are looking forA flexible reliable individual capable of working both alongside a multi-disciplinary team, and under own initiative. A general awareness of engineering would be beneficial for responding to reactive faults as well as an understanding of basic tools and access equipment. A can do attitude with an awareness of the importance of service continuity and the sensitivity of the work environment.
