Job Overview: As a Finance Administrator at Mitie, you will play a vital role in supporting both the onsite management team and the Senior Finance & Commercial Coordinator. Your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth operation of financial and administrative processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of our contract delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative and financial tasks. You will manage purchase orders and supplier invoices, assist with budget preparation and cost control, and respond to queries from suppliers, clients, and colleagues regarding financial procedures. You'll also coordinate waste service bookings, maintain accurate records of annual leave and absences, and process orders for PPE, uniforms, and stationery. Additionally, you will support monthly reporting, manage documents on the Shared Drive, and take minutes during meetings. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to contribute to process improvements are essential.
