Crynodeb
Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with national and local guidance. Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with national and local guidance. Facilitate effective safeguarding multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, including intelligence gathering, documentation of decisions, and monitoring actions. Support the preparation and submission of safeguarding reports for local authorities, child services, and other statutory bodies. Assist practices in responding to statutory information requests (e.g., section 42 enquiries, case reviews). Promote awareness of safeguarding referral pathways, including Early Help, MARAC, MAPPA, domestic abuse services, and victim support services. Maintain and update a vulnerable patient register across the PCN. Support practices in achieving CQC safeguarding compliance. Provide advice and support on recording and coding safeguarding information within patient records.
