Job Advert
The Council is looking for a bright and intelligent person to work within the Pensions Section.
In the role, you will undertake a range of important administrative, IT and financial tasks. You will be involved in performing a range of scheme calculations and in supporting pension scheme members via telephone, email and written communications.
You will hold a good set of academic qualifications and have excellent IT, numeracy and literacy skills. You will ideally have a working knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme, be a keen learner and be able to get to grips with complicated concepts.
You will be a confident communicator, who is able to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and Scheme employers.
This role would also suit a recent graduate or school leaver with excellent exam results. Full training will be provided.
you will work 37 hours, 5 days per week. Requests to work flexibly will be considered.
