Salary Circa £40,000 per annum
Our Lincolnshire based client has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for keeping advanced systems running smoothly.
THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll need to ensure the service schedule is adhered to, and all work is carried out to the required standard, as well as:
- Carry out routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance of all systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to ensure continuous operation of automated and environmental control systems.
- Inspect and maintain structural components.
- Assist with installation, upgrades and test of new systems or equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections and repairs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and sustainability.
- Participate in on-call rota and emergency repair coverage when required.
- Proactive attitude ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues by adhering to company H&S policies and procedures.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Maintenance Technician will have proven experience in mechanical, electrical or facility maintenance ideally within a horticultural, food production or industrial environment, as well as:
- A proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety.
- Able to operate to high standards of compliance.
- Commitment to undertake continued training and development.
- Proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Willing to take responsibility and ownership for tasks.
- Ability to work under own initiative but also as part of the wider team.
- Professional manner and effective communication skills.
