JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PERSONAL ASSISTANT
Job Title: Personal Assistant
Place of work: At my home and at places in the community.
Rate of pay: £13.85 per hour
Hours of work: 5 hours a week on Mon/Sat/Sun
Purpose of job: To support me to live independently.
Tasks:
I am a 19 year old queer person and am looking for someone to support me in the various tasks listed whilst also being empathetic, honest and patient. I am also looking for someone who is respectful of my identity and in general a sociable, likeable person as I am still an active young person and would want to have a professional but trustworthy and friendly rapport with my carer.
To assist me in batch cooking my meals and ensure that I have access to food and drink when I am on my own. This may include heating up and cooking meat/pork but mostly vegetarian meals as well as cleaning the dishes and putting things in tupperware away.
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within my home, which includes laundry, hoovering, cleaning my dishes, changing and making my bed, and any other domestic duties that I may ask of you.
To be able to travel and assist with grocery shopping including carrying bags/heavy items.
Must respect our privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times regarding our personal life and what happens in my home.
To enable me to carry out any other chosen activity, whether inside or outside my home, by carrying out any other requests I may reasonably make.
