Job Description
Overview:
To manage overall vending operation and to ensure agreed standards are met by all vending colleagues
Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of vending machines across a nationwide group contract
- Ensure machines are stocked, cleaned, and maintained by your team of operators
- Perform regular spot checks and audits to ensure high standards are maintained
- Manage the maintenance and repair of vending machines, coordinating with vendors and maintenance contract providers as necessary
- Monitor and analyse machine performance data, implementing improvements to maximise efficiency and profitability
Inventory Management:
- Develop and manage inventory control processes to ensure timely restocking of products and reducing wastage across all areas
- Work with suppliers to order and maintain optimal stock levels of fresh products, snacks, beverages and other products
- Work with suppliers to ensure we are keeping costs to a minimum and increase profitability
- Conduct regular stock and asset audits and reconcile discrepancies
Financial Management:
- Manage the weekly vending accounts including inputting sales, checking invoices, stock takes and cashing up as required
- Track sales and revenue, providing regular financial reports to senior management
- Assist in preparing and managing the vending operations budget
- Implement cost control measures to optimise profitability
Client Relations:
- Build positive, credible and collaborative relationships and communication methods with clients and other key stakeholders in the business
- Address and resolve customer, client and service issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through regular feedback and service improvements
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to enhance the customer experience
- Achieve business critical KPI's including Health and Safety, Sustainability, Financial and Governance
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with vending machine technology and maintenance
- Technical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining vending equipment
- Familiarity with RAMs and ATA processes preferred but training will be given
Qualifications
- Previous experience commensurate with role
- Have a contagious passion for food and customer service
