About the Role:
talentED are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our specialist school in Huddersfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire and nurture students in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring they meet the diverse and complex SEMH needs of pupils, including upper primary students requiring learning support at a lower primary level.
Assess and track student progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
Work closely with the teaching team to collaborate on curriculum planning and school activities.
Encourage students to develop socially, emotionally, and academically, ensuring their wellbeing.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using a range of strategies to support learning.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching within a Primary or SEN School.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
