Park Signalling combines technology design and consultancy with specialist knowledge and product development to enhance the
service life of train control systems and equipment. With a range of products and solutions for monitoring signalling assets,
Park Signalling uses digital technologies to deliver performance improvements for heavy and light rail networks and signalling
systems globally.

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Test, Diagnostic and Repair Technician to join our Operations function at our office in
Stockport. You will be responsible for the repair and test activities required to maintain high-quality, safety-critical
products. The role will report to the Hardware Engineering Team leader, holding responsibility for testing, diagnosing and
repairing products, working as a member of the Hardware team in Stockport.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

* Ensure all production units (complete and sub-assemblies) meet established quality requirements.

* Compose and edit test procedures and instructions.

* Maintain product records, process documentation and lab setups.

* Ensure robust, repeatable production processes are in place.

* Triage and resolve production technical issues.

* Work to engineering drawings.

* Build and modify electronics systems according to engineering drawings.

* Undertake instrumentation setup for data acquisition for product soak testing.

* Recognise improvement opportunities and volunteer solutions.

* Perform test equipment maintenance as required and documented.




Candidates must be qualified to HNC/D level in a mechatronic, electrical, electronic or equivalent and relevant discipline, with
previous experience in a test & diagnostic environment. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate the following:

* Ability to use measuring equipment, e.g. Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Signal generators, Bench PSUs, micrometres, vernier
callipers and common lab equipment.

* Fault finding & diagnostic techniques to component level.

* Soldering and rework capability through-hole, and SMT.

* Demonstrable ability to follow technical documentation.

* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.




A full UK driving License is also essential as some travel to other sites may be required as part of the role.
