Summary
We are seeking a reliable and certified telehandler driver for a short-term holiday cover role on a busy new build housing site in Skelmanthorpe. We need immediate cover to maintain material flow during this critical period.
Key Responsibilities:- Safe operation of the telehandler, including movement of materials (bricks, roof trusses, timber, etc.) to designated work areas.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Performing mandatory daily safety checks (pre-start checks) and accurately documenting any faults.
- Working closely with the Site Manager and various trade teams.
- Strict compliance with all site health & safety guidelines, especially relating to lifting operations.
- A valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler certification is mandatory.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Prior experience operating a telescopic handler on an active residential site.
- Strong understanding of safe loading and stacking procedures.
- High level of reliability and punctuality for the specified cover period.
- Must supply and wear appropriate PPE.
