About Us J&I Pipework Services is a trusted name in industrial and commercial pipework solutions, known for delivering high-quality fabrication, installation, and maintenance services across the UK. With a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and innovation, as we plan to expand the company, we are also expanding our team and looking for a dynamic Production Supervisor to lead our workshop and site work operations.
The Role As Production Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our fabrication workshop and site projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to specification, and within budget. You’ll lead a skilled team of Pipe fitters, welders, fabricators while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the workshop and on our client sites across the United Kingdom.
• Manage workloads, schedules, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow
• Monitor performance and provide training and support to team members
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Manage logistics, ensuring our company fleet is maintained and ready for use
• Ensure all relative training and competency certification is in order and up to date
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fabrication or pipework environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial pipework systems and fabrication processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, fabrication, or a related field
