About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Chef to join our Korean fusion restaurant in Crystal Palace. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes that blend traditional Korean flavours with modern global influences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook Korean fusion dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Develop new menu items and specials in line with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food costs and wastage.
• Collaborate with management to plan menus, events, and daily kitchen operations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Chef, ideally within Korean or Asian fusion cuisine.
• Sound knowledge of Korean ingredients, flavours, and cooking techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Food Hygiene and Safety certification preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
