Crynodeb
You will provide high-quality, patient-centred Occupational Therapy care, as part of a 6monthly rotational programme, working across a variety of clinical settings within the acute hospital including admission avoidance areas, healthcare of the older person wards, medical wards and surgical wards The focus of the role is to contribute to patient assessments, treatment planning, and complex discharge processes including supporting patients with cognitive impairment using the Mental Capacity Act 2005 best practice principles Responsibilities include clinical leadership, supervision of junior staff and students, and participation in service development and audits. You are required to complete accurate documentation and timely data input. The role requires advanced therapeutic skills, effective communication with patients, carers, and external agencies, and compliance with national and local policies Additionally, the post holder will support staff training and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives.
