Summary

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Our client, a forward-thinking primary school in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated and skilled HLTA to join their supportive team.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide exceptional learning support and deliver engaging lessons to pupils across various age groups. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities
- Providing individualised support to pupils with diverse learning needs
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, and providing regular feedback to teachers
- Contributing to the development of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom environment
- Supporting the school's vision, ethos, and policies

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion
